Nieuwe MiFID-template per 10 december

Bij de invoering van MiFID II heeft de markt een template ontwikkeld voor de data-uitwisseling tussen product manufacturers en de distributeurs. Een oplossing die door alle dataproviders en marktpartijen wordt gebruikt. Nu, ruim twee jaar later, kon de template wel een update gebruiken. Dat betekent dat we als markt afspraken hebben gemaakt over hoe we met elkaar overgaan naar een nieuwe versie. Onze eerste update!

Uitstel SFDR level 2

Eind oktober heeft de Europese Commissie laten weten dat de level 2-regels van de EU Sustainable-related Disclosures Regulation (SFDR) worden uitgesteld. De hoofdregels van SFDR (‘SFDR level 1’) worden wel van kracht op 10 maart 2021. Binnen de DUFAS SFDR expertgroep onderzoeken we welke gevolgen dit heeft. 

De uitgebreide en gedetailleerde regels die de Europese toezichthouders in april hebben geconsulteerd, gelden dus niet per 10 maart 2021.

EFAMA calls for urgent PRIIPS review and extension of the UCITS exemption

The European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) has written to the European Commission on the subject of the PRIIPS draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS), calling for an immediate extension of the UCITS exemption, as well as an urgent Level 1 review of the regulation.

Tanguy van de Werve, EFAMA Director General, said: "Following a recent communication from the ESAs' to the European Commission on the fact that they were unable to agree on a revised PRIIPs draft RTS, the entire PRIIPs regime is in limbo."

EC’s work on integrating sustainability considerations is ‘essential’, says EFAMA

The European Commission’s work on integrating sustainability considerations is an “essential milestone” that will further encourage the availability of environmental, social and governance (ESG) products to European investors, according to the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA).

The comments were made in response to the EC’s consultations on delegated acts that seek to integrate sustainability risks and sustainability factors into UCITS, Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) and the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).
